Privacy Policy
PlanThen does not collect your personal data. The app is local-first: your tasks, schedule, focus sessions and history are stored in a database on your iPhone. There is no account, no profile, and no server that holds your plan.

What stays on your device
- Task titles, notes, estimates and client labels you enter
- Your schedule, including blocks you move or release
- Focus sessions, their intervals, and the time they recorded
- Your settings and onboarding progress
- The list of apps you chose to block during focus, held by iOS itself
None of this is transmitted to us. Deleting the app removes it, and the app has a "Reset PlanThen Data" control that erases it on demand.
Calendar
If you grant calendar access, PlanThen reads events for the current day so it can show them beside your plan. It is read-only: PlanThen never creates, edits or deletes events, and never uploads them anywhere. Event details are held in memory while the app is open. Revoking access in iOS Settings removes them from the screen immediately. Calendar access is optional and the app works without it.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, PlanThen schedules reminders for blocks you planned and notices about a running session. These are local notifications created and delivered on your device; no push server is involved and we never see them.
Distraction protection
When protection is available, the apps you select are blocked using Apple's Screen Time technology. Your selection is handled by iOS in a privacy-preserving form and stays on the device — PlanThen cannot read which specific apps you picked, and that information never leaves your iPhone.
Analytics
Anonymous usage statistics are off by default. You can turn them on in Settings. Even when enabled, events are written only to the local database on your phone, they never include task titles, notes, client names or any other content you typed, and this build does not transmit them anywhere. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated before it ships and the choice will remain yours.
Diagnostics
PlanThen uses Apple's MetricKit for crash and performance diagnostics. These reports are produced and handled by Apple according to your device's own diagnostics settings. We use no third-party analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDKs.
Tracking and advertising
PlanThen does not track you. There is no advertising, no ad identifier, no data broker, no cross-app or cross-site tracking, and nothing is sold or shared with anyone.
Children
PlanThen is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Because the app collects no personal data at all, there is nothing for us to delete on request.
Your rights
Because your data never leaves your device, you already hold all of it. The app can produce a full export of your own data, and can erase everything on your instruction. If you are in the EEA, UK, or a US state with a privacy statute, the rights of access, correction, deletion and portability are satisfied directly in the app — we have no copy to act on.
This website
planthen.app is a static site served from our own server. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and embeds no third-party scripts or fonts. Standard web-server logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp) may be produced for security and reliability, are kept briefly, and are not used to build any profile.
If you email hello@planthen.app, we receive your message and address so we can reply. Mail is routed by Cloudflare Email Routing to a Google mailbox we control; both act as processors. We keep correspondence only as long as needed to answer you.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it, and material changes will be described in the app before they take effect.
